I'm Thama — a 17-year-old entrepreneur from Thulamela, Limpopo, and I built WorkFleetSA on my own.
I've always been passionate about motor vehicles — the engineering, the mechanics, all of it. While looking around at how bakkies, trucks, buses and machinery get bought and sold in South Africa, I noticed something: every marketplace out there treats these vehicles as an afterthought, buried under leisure cars nobody in this line of work actually wants to scroll through.
So I decided to build the utility-first marketplace I thought should already exist — a place where farmers, contractors, dealers and operators can list and find bakkies, trucks, buses, trailers, and earthmoving or heavy machinery without wading through sedans and hatchbacks to get there.
